What is a flavor profile? Coffees can be as complex and nuanced as wines. Depending on elevation, climate, soils, processing, varietal and farming practices, high quality coffees can take on a variety of flavors and aromas. These nuances are inherent to the bean, and should never be confused with flavored coffees – a process by which artificial flavorings are added to the coffee after roasting. Our roasting team evaluates each coffee and creates tasting notes to provide clues as to what you might experience in the cup.
